Your host will narrate the area’s chilling past as you walk, from horrific crimes and deaths, to gangstas and a tragic romance. Come along and get a little spooked, as we wonder - whatever happened to the 20,000 bodies under the ground?
During the tour, guests will have the opportunity to pause for a 15 minute coffee break.
There will be some walking involved on the evening, so please wear comfortable shoes and bring an umbrella if the weather calls for it.
Any child under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

So much fun! Karyn was so knowledgeable and made the stories so interesting. She’s a fantastic storyteller. 5/5 by Monica Atlamaz 15-2-2018
My cousin and I had the most wonderful tour. We had no idea what to expect but being frequent tour walkers I would have to say this tour is 5star plus.
What a delightful lady Karen our tour guide is. The first thing that strikes you is the smile which accompanies a professional approach. She was at all times respectful to the departed telling their stories with humor, empathy and attention to the facts.
Participants on the tour were great and interacted well
Cannot speak highly enough of Karen and her tour. 5/5 by Janice Dunning 12-2-2018
We thoroughly enjoyed the family tour. It was fantastic for the kids (and adults) to learn a little bit of history of our city. Especially enjoyed the Dunbar history & connection with other grave sites. 5/5 by ANNETTE MEAD 19-11-2017

Thoroughly enjoyed listening to the stories about the people buried in the cemetery and the story about the Dunbar. Some of the graves had several family members buried there. Walking back through the park on the other side of the wall was lovely (even though there were a lot of people still buried there somewhere!). I dressed up for the night and I had a lot of fun. I met some really nice people in our group, too. Our guide, Karyn, knew so much about each of the characters. I had a great night, thank you. 5/5 by Carolyn Cannings 30-10-2017

I was really interested in the background history & the guide was enthusiastic, engaging & very informative. I don't think it should be described as a ghost tour as such. Was nice to sit down & have a drink . Was also good to see the streets of Newtown I never knew existed. 3/5 by Maxine 17-7-2017

It was a really well-organised tour, with loads of fascinating stories of Newtown and surrounds. The guide was entertaining and knowledgeable. All in all a fun and interesting evening - I would definitely recommend it to friends. 5/5 by Rachel Short 30-1-2017
We both enjoyed this event, exploring fascinating Newtown and learning of historical events. The tour included many places we would not have known about and made all the more interesting by Kimball's narrative and his local knowledge. 4/5 by Brian Fisher 30-12-2016
It was interesting. 4/5 by Gabby Morales 6-12-2016
Kimball is a great storyteller and the walk is good and spooky enough to make me look to certain Newton's spots in a different way ;) Was a good adventure! Also, this tour is a good way to better understand the vibrant and socially mixed old Newton suburb. 4/5 by Carla Guedes 27-11-2016
